چکیده
Background . Ovarian cancer ranks 5th in the structure of female oncological mortality Russian Federation, with a first-year post-diagnosis rate almost 35%. In 75% cases, ovarian is diagnosed at stages III—IV. The disease usually represents as peritoneal carcinomatosis regarded an advanced form that demands attention, which renders issue highly relevant. We present literature review and analysis combined treatment outcomes patients hospitalised Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital within period 2020—2021. Materials methods article reviews foreign national scientific literature, well reports case data on 18 treated Department Oncology Results discussion A complete cytoreductive surgery was performed 100% cases. cohort I, mean operation time 256 vs. 364 min, intraoperative blood loss — 1200 1050 mL, hospital stay 14.6 18.7 bed-days. Postoperative complications were 16.7 50% I II. 30-day 0 16.6% monitoring enrolment currently continues. Conclusion HIPEC procedure not radical measure can only achieve maximum efficacy if coupled cytoreduction. stage III—IV concurrent approach promising requires further in-depth research more robust statistics.

The number of deaths seems to increase the last few years. More than 70% of the patients with ovarian cancer have advanced disease at the time of initial diagnosis because they remain asymptomatic in early stages (Roberts, 199...

As the overall prognosis for patients with ovarian cancer is poor, the management of this condition should be restricted to expert multi-disciplinary teams in gynaecological oncology. Apparent early stage ovarian cancer requires accurate and complete staging so that potential sites for metastases are not missed. Omitting adequate staging may have significant consequences including a negative im...

Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is the most common cause of death from gynecological cancer in the Western world. The current standard treatment of these patients consists of cytoreduction and systemic chemotherapy. One of the most distinct features of EOC is the tendency to disseminate into the peritoneal cavity and remain confined to the peritoneum and intra-abdominal viscera. This makes it a...
